Clean, graceful lines, simple structures, and a refined sense of color… Designer Lyndsay Caleo attributes the aesthetic of her work to a longstanding fascination with Scandinavian architecture and primitive art. She brought elements of these genres into her sculpture, and then perfected her signature style by training as a goldsmith at the renowned Rhode Island School of Design.
As a designer, Caleo takes design cues from her interior planning and architectural design work that she does with The Brooklyn Home Company. “Whether I am at the jeweler’s bench or designing an interior, I am inspired to create objects and spaces that become integrated with who we are, how we live and ultimately how we experience life through self adornment and the environments we inhabit.”
